Call for industry participation

The annual IEEE Conference on Games (IEEE CoG) aims to be a leading venue for researchers and practitioners to exchange ideas and novel approaches to bring innovation in and through games. IEEE CoG is a venue to discuss recent advances and explore future directions. IEEE CoG 2026 will take place at Universidad Complutense de Madrid, located in Madrid, Spain, during 1st – 4th September 2026.

Program highlights

  • Industry Day with keynotes, industry talks, and a demo exhibition. This day is free of attendance for the audience.
  • Keynote speakers: to be announced
  • Tutorials:
    • From Zero to Platformer Game with Godot
    • Instrumenting Player Experience: The Body as Interface for Physiological Game Analytics and Biofeedback
    • Statistical Analysis for [New-ish] Researchers
    • Neurogame Development
  • Regular program with Games Research presentations from academia and industry.

Talks

These talks are meant to be given by professionals from the games industry on technical, scientific, and/or engineering work on video games, board games, and other types of games. Submission requires a title, an abstract proposal and takeaways for the audience.

Demos

We invite demonstration proposals from professionals in the games industry to showcase innovative technical work at the IEEE Conference on Games. This track is dedicated to interactive demonstrations of industry-driven advances, including game prototypes, AI systems, development tools, production technologies, and experimental gameplay systems. Submissions should emphasize technical innovation and offer live or hands-on insight into real-world applications and workflows. This call is distinct from both the research paper track and the industry talk format and does not require a written paper.
